Ulster Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Camogie Final.
It was a case of bitter/sweet emotions for the gallant girls of Roan St. Patrick’s P.S. today In Magherafelt’s marvellous Meadowbank Arena.
Earlier this month this group of multi-talented girls captured the Ulster Girls’ Football title.
However, not content with this, they also reached the Camogie Championship Finals. To their credit, they battled tremendously against other county champions from across Ulster. Indeed, the Roan P.S. girls progressed all the way to today’s Ulster Final.
Alas, it proved a bridge too far when a single goal won it for the Derry champions, but what an achievement that these girls will never forget in their sporting memories.
