There was a tremendous atmosphere this evening in Garvaghey as an inaugural inter-county primary school 'friendly' took place between Tyrone and Armagh.
The event was the brainchild of Tyrone Allianz Cumann na nBunscol Chairman Brian McGurk and his Armagh counterpart, Gary Farrell. With the support of their respective committees, schools, parents, referees and pupils, the event was an amazing success.
The standard of play was immense - matched only by the happy faces of the pupils who put on an exhibition of Gaelic Football. The winner, of course, was....
Grassroots Primary School GAA.
Plans are already afoot for the return leg next year. Bring it on!
