Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Hurling County Finals
This week saw hurling teams from around the county compete in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Hurling County Finals in Carrickmore.
Gaelscoil Aodha Rua, Gaelscoil na gCrann, St John's Moy, Roan St Patrick's Eglish, St Lawrence's Fintona, St Colmcille's Carrickmore and St Ronan's Recarson all fought it out for silverware and county medals on what was a fantastic day of skill and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to St Ronan's Recarson who were the winners of the shield competition after a wonderful day's hurling.
The cup was retained by a powerful St Colmcille's side who retain the title as county champions after an entertaining re-run of last year's epic final with St John's Moy.
A huge thank you to Tyrone GAA Development Officers Damhlaic Rushe and Colm Dillon for officiating on the day.
Thanks also to Cumann na mBunscol Officer Emmet O'Neill for organising the finals and to Cumann na mBunscol Uladh Chairperson Pat McGivern for presenting the victorious schools with their county medals.
